The day after winning the Australian Open for the tenth time and equaling the men’s record of 22 Grand Slam titles, which he now shares with Rafa Nadal, Novak Djokovic went to the gardens of the Governor’s House, in Melbourne, to pose with the trophy in the formal photo sessionreserved each year for the winners.
“I think there is still a lot of fire inside of me, burning because of the passion I feel for this sport and for competition. And I think that is what allows me to continue to push myself to the limit”, said Djokovic, happy with the Norman Brooke Cup in his hands, a trophy he knows very well.
An astounding 10th #AusOpen title, a remarkable 22nd Grand Slam crown, an outrageous 374th week as the world No.1 – the numbers behind @DjokerNole‘s #AO23 triumph are head-spinning.
And he’s not finished yet…

“The training sessions, one day in and the other, after many years of going through the same routines, very repetitive, sometimes they are not very interesting, but I know that there is always a greater objective, stars that guide me. And this trophy is one of them. It is something I will always strive for,” she added.
