Before the Bundesliga opener against FC Bayern, Max Eberl (49) reveals in the BILD football podcast how the late Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz († 78) from RB Leipzig convinced him, why he likes to have a relationship with Uli Hoeneß Master bet for a beer and how he deals with the Gladbach fans’ accusation that he acted when he resigned: “It was the worst injury I’ve ever had in my life!”
He also reveals that he is back with his childhood sweetheart after 35 years – and explains how he managed to be Max Eberl again on a trip around the world and with the help of a psychologist.
