Despite the favors of the forecast, Fortitudo loses against Latina

The Serie A2 championship has shown that no match is taken for granted and, despite starting with the favors of the predictions, Fortitudo Agrigento loses against Latina 87-71 and is crushed from start to finish. A few too many ailments don’t allow coach Cagnardi’s roster to express their basketball, defined by many coaches as one of the best in the league, but Latina starts off strong right away with 24 points in the first set and 23 in the second. Arriving in the locker room with 46 points conceded puts a comeback that smells of feat in front of the blue-and-white formation. Despite Alessandro Grande’s 21 points and Marfo’s 15, there were many free throw errors, 8/14 against the opponents’ 15/19, as well as 21 turnovers against 17, opportunities that the Lazio team made the most of with Alipiev’s 23 points and Rodriguez’s 20. Bad night for Lorenzo Ambrosin who scores only 7 points with 2/9 from two and 1/5 from three. This season only in Piacenza did Fortitudo Agrigento suffer so much without ever returning to the game. Two points lost and now another away match, to Milan, to return to winning ways trying to recover all the players available.
