COVI Club renews board of directors – El Vigia Newspaper

The COVI Archery Club met on Saturday afternoon to present its new board of directors, made up of Alejandra Ruiz, Carlos Espejo, Cecilia Patrón, Claudia Flores, Diana Garayzar, Lorena Branks, Fernanda Villavicencio, team coach, and Stephanie Salinas, president of the Baja California Archers Association.
Some of the objectives of the new management are to promote the club in order to increase its membership and promote the discipline of archery.
At the beginning of February, Oliver Noé Muñoz, Valentina Muñoz and Carlos Espejo, high-performance athletes who are members of the club, will compete in The Vegas Shoot World Shooting Championship. In addition, their training will allow them to participate in the Municipal Competition that will take place at the Valle Dorado Sports City, on February 28.
The team has been training since 2017, four hours a day, five days a week, at the Ciudad Deportiva de Valle Dorado, and its members are 5 years old and older.
They proudly presented their champions Cassandra Nicole Sánchez, national shortlisted; Elisa Garayzar, 2019 national children’s champion; Oliver Noé Muñoz, winner of the Conade National Medal 20-22; and Carlos Espejo, winner of the National Foreign Medal 20-22.
