After announcing the signings of midfielder Larry Angulo and right back Eber Moreno, Deportivo Pereira made two more official contracts. These are two central defenders: Santiago Ruiz and Edisson Restrepo.
The new players come to replace Andrés Felipe ‘Pecoso’ Correa and Jhon Palacios, an important contribution to the 2022-II title, who will play with Once Caldas and DIM, respectively.
Ruiz played with Envigado and comes from Alianza Petrolera. His links Alejandro Restrepo’s team with a plus; he can also play as a left winger. Edisson Restrepo, with a past in Leones and Atlético Huila, played in 2022 with Deportivo Táchira from Venezuela.
For now, Deportivo Pereira has confirmed the departure of 14 players: Leonardo Castro, Leider Berrio, Brian Leon, Duban Palace, Andres Correa, Jader Mace, Harlen Castillo, Luis Lopez, Daniel Linarez, Yeiler Goez, Harlin Suarez, Kevin Lugo, Jose Sinisterra and Jhon Palaces.
