Until now there were three Super 1000 tournaments (All England, Indonesia and China), the most important on the World Tour circuit -like the Grand Slams in tennis-, after the Finals. And as of this year a new Super 1000 has been added, in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), which until now had a 750 category and which now opens the year in style. Of these last tournaments, two new ones have also been added for this season.
