Carolina Marín defeats the Chinese Yue Han and is in the final

Carolina Marín from Huelva qualified for the final of the Indonesian Open after beating Chinese Yue Han 21-15 and 21-14, in 41 minutes of play.

The two sets developed with equality on the scoreboard until, in the final stretch of both, the Spaniard imposed her racket with authority against the eighth seed of the tournament and the eleventh in the world ranking.

Previously, Han and Marin had faced each other twice, with a win for each.

The Olympic champion in Rio 2016, three-time world champion and six-time European champion, currently in the ninth place in the ranking, will face off in the final with the winner of the match between the Chinese Zhi Yi Wan, seventh in the world ranking, and the South Korean Se Young An, second in the ranking.
