O 2023 Carioca Championship has an international reach. Known as “Brazil’s most charming State”, the tournament is being broadcast to 44 countries, spread over three continents. Commercial manager of the competition, Brax Sports Assets was responsible for negotiating the sale of international broadcasting rights.
– Carioca football awakens and attracts interest around the world. This is yet another proof of what we are and what we represent – said the president of the Football Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Rubens Lopes, in a press release.
The agreements allow the Carioca Championship to be broadcast in South, Central and North America, as well as in Asia and Europe, which increases the visibility of the competition, clubs and partners.
– It is a clear demonstration of the potential, visibility and reach of the Campeonato Carioca and, consequently, what it provides to partner brands – commented Bruno Rodrigues, one of Brax’s partners.
