Bundesliga: RB Leipzig interested in Reus commitment

According to media reports, DFB Cup winner RB Leipzig is considering a possible commitment from Marco Reus.

Sky and Sport1 reported that the Saxons had contact with Reus’ advisor Dirk Hebe this Bundesliga weekend. The contract of 33-year-old Reus at Borussia Dortmund expires at the end of the season.

Leipzig’s new sports director Max Eberl recently said on the TV station Bild: “In general, free transfer players have found a very large market. If players are free transfers, then you should at least deal with each individual one.” The 49-year-old piloted Reus to Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2009. “Marco is more of a leader who can make a squad stronger through his experience,” said Eberl.
