Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians is reportedly upset by the organization’s decision to fire three staff members.

When he gave up his post after the 2021 season to become a team adviser, the 70-year-old said he took this route to avoid personnel turnover at the “Bucs”.
“I’m in control right now,” he told NBC Sports at the time. I will not control it next February. […] I am 31 [entraîneurs et leurs] families who depend on me. My wife is very insistent that I don’t let these families down.”

The Buccaneers went 8-9 and were outshot by the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of playoffs this year.
Among those shown the door was offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich. Four other offensive and two defensive coaches also lost their jobs.
Also, the daily journalist Tampa Bay Times Rick Stroud recently chatted with Arians.
“He is not happy, even unhappy. Extremely unhappy, Stroud said during his appearance on WDAE Radio. Having had a few exchanges with him on this subject, I can say that he is disappointed.
“He wanted to keep that staff together and that the families [d’entraîneurs] be together. Many of them still have a year left on their contract. Many thought they would be here as long as Todd [Bowles] would be the head coach and it is not. So he’s hurt. I don’t know if we’re going to see a lot of it next year.”
