Bertans helps “Mavericks” win over weakened “Pelicans”

The Dallasites won at home with the result 127:117 (34:15, 29:31, 34:35, 30:36) against the New Orleans “Pelicans”, who played without several leading basketball players.

Bertan played 12 minutes and 50 seconds, making both field goals, one for two points and the other for three. Rūjieniėš also had two assists, one error and one note. The Mavericks scored as many points as they allowed with Bertan on the court.

In the ranks of the winners, Luka Doncic achieved his ninth triple-double of the season, scoring 34 points, grabbing ten rebounds and giving ten assists. The Slovenian also got his tenth technical mark of the season.

None of the team’s three most productive players – Zaion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and Christian James McCollum – played for the guests.

“Mavericks” with 23 wins in 40 matches are in fourth place in the Western Conference, while “Pelicans” are higher with 24 successes in 40 matches.

On Sunday, the Dallasites will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder.
