Crailsheim (dpa / lsw) – Basketball Bundesliga club Hakro Merlins Crailsheim has signed James Batemon. The point guard was last active with AS Karditsas in Greece and will receive a contract until the end of the season at 14th in the table, as the club announced on Thursday. “He’s a combo guard who played with a very high intensity in Greece and was also one of the most important decision-makers there,” said Crailsheim’s sporting director Ingo Enskat about the 25-year-old American. Batemon played the first seven games of the season for Karditsas. He got an average of 17.6 points.
