The blaugranas endorse the RFEF Primera team with goals from Raphinha, Ansu Fati, Kessié and a brace from Lewandowski

Barcelona fulfilled its task this Thursday against Ceuta. The azulgrana team beat the RFEF Primera team by 0-5 in a match in which they went from less to more and in which they ended up thrashing thanks to goals from Raphinha, Lewandowksi, on two occasions, Ansu Fati and Kessié. With this victory, the culés are already in the quarterfinals of the Cup and do not stop the state of euphoria unleashed after the achievement of the Spanish Super Cup.

An exercise in patience is what Barcelona had to do in the round of 16. Xavi’s team left the confetti behind and settled in Ceuta with a revolution in the eleven. Sergi Roberto, Pablo Torre and Kessié entered the midfield, while in attack the Catalans formed with a top-level trident made up of Lewandowski, Raphinha and Ferran Torres.

It seemed like a simple change of cards, but it ended up being much more. Barça was a thick and slow team to begin with in circulation, but they found themselves with a goal on the stroke of half-time after Raphinha scored with the only shot between the sticks. That moment of inspiration from the Brazilian changed everything.

After the restart, Ceuta collapsed like a house of cards and Xavi, who didn’t want another day like Intercity’s, sent a message to his team giving Gavi on. Barça improved and in the second half they had a real feast. Lewandowski struck first after a poor ball release from Ceuta, then Ansu Fati signed the third on the run with a right hand to the long post and then Kessié put the fourth with an unappealable header after a cross from Raphinha. Finally, Lewandowski closed the account with a tight thread off the post. It was the last service for Barça, who lowered the curtain and left Alfonso Murube as happy as he arrived.
