Barça breaks two records in a new thrashing (7-0)

BarcelonaBarça has no roof. It is the set that has revolutionized women’s football, on and off the pitch. It has been the team that has torn down walls, awakened consciences and shattered records. Today the Blaugrana once again wrote their name in the history of football, not just women’s, becoming the first team – women’s or men’s – to achieve 50 consecutive victories in a domestic competition. In addition, he has done it in the purest Barça style: with a thrashing and in his bulwark, Johan Cruyff.

Levante Las Planas has been a stone guest in the new cultural milestone. The Catalan derby has been Blaugrana for ninety minutes and the footballers led by Jonatan Giráldez have danced with pleasure on the grass. Anna Maria Crnogocevic opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a header at the far post. The Swiss, who has become an indisputable figure in the dressing room, has been one of the masters of ceremonies for the new record. In fact, a pass from him allowed Asisat Oshoala, the other star of the derby, to put the second goal on the scoreboard moments before the Swiss scored the third just before the half-time whistle.

In the second half, a young fiancée has joined the party. Vicky López, who arrived at Can Barça this year, has become the youngest goalscorer in the history of women’s Barça. At 16 years, 5 months and 27 days, he scored his first goal as a Barcelona player and surpassed Patri Guijarro, who had previously held the record at 17 years, 3 months and 17 days. Still celebrating the Madrid goal, Oshoala got down to business and scored two more goals to become the team’s top scorer this season in the League, with 10, and fourth in the team history Mariona Caldentey rounded off the scoring with the seventh goal on a new day that will forever be marked in Barça’s history.
