Argentina qualified for the World Beach Games

The Argentine 3×3 basketball team, in both branches, will be part of the second edition of the World Beach Games that will take place in Bali, from August 5 to 12.

Another challenge looms for our representatives in the 3×3 universe. Argentina will participate in the second World Beach Games, which will be held from August 5 to 12 in Bali, Indonesia.

America has four berths in this competition. In the case of the men’s edition, those classified by continent were: Argentina, Chile, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. On the other hand, the same teams entered the women’s division, unlike Puerto Rico, which lost place to Venezuela.
These games will be organized by the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) and the calendar will include 3×3 basketball, aquathlon, beach handball, beach soccer, beach tennis, 4×4 beach volleyball, beach water polo, beach wrestling, individual kata, open water swimming 5 km, airbadminton, surfing, beach sprint rowing, and wing foil racing.

It is a young and inclusive event that combines the informality and vitality of the beach with elite sport to create very attractive Games. It is the world’s only youth-focused beach, water and action sports festival created specifically for the benefit of National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and their athletes.
