The current Peruvian champion, Alianza Lima, signed the Colombian midfielder Andrés Andrade for the 2023 season, in which the popular Lima club will try to be crowned three-time champion, the team confirmed this Friday.

The Peruvian clubs are in the middle of the stage of incorporating new figures, a few days before the League 1 tournament begins, on January 21, and each team makes the official presentation of its squad for this year. Alianza Lima, directed by Guillermo Salas, announced on his social networks that “the ‘Rifle’ is already blue and white” and that now Andrade “goes with everything for the Tri”.

The Colombian midfielder wore the colors of Atlético Nacional de Colombia in the last three years and before that team he played for América de Cali, Atlético Huila, Deportes Tolima, América de México, Jaguares de Chiapas, León and Atlas. In his country, Andrade lifted the Colombia Cup and the opening tournament, while he also won the Concacaf Champions League during his time at América de México.

Alianza Lima will offer next Sunday the “Blue and White Afternoon 2023” in which it will present its official team in a friendly match against Junior from Barranquilla at the Alejandro Villanueva stadium in the Lima district of La Victoria, its historic headquarters. In that meeting, the club will offer a series of musical shows and matches of its youth teams before the stellar meeting with its squad for the new football season.
