Andalusian Championship Bruno Parra and Martín Domínguez, from the ULB, with Cádiz against Andaluz in minibasket

Two players from the Linense Basketball Union (ULB), Bruno Parra and Martin Dominguez, that will be part of the selection of Cadiz, will represent the Campo de Gibraltar in the Andalusian Championship of mini-male category of provincial teams, which will be held in the Malaga town of Manilva between this friday and this sunday (20 and 22 January).

Parra and Domínguez thus take over from Lola Mota Ruiz-Galán, also a player from La Línea, who has been part of the Cádiz team that last week participated in the Andalusian mini-female, in which Cádiz finished in sixth position.



The presentation of this tournament was attended by the Andalusian Basketball Federation, its president antonio de torresand its vice president and provincial delegate in Malaga, Ricardo Bandres. Lhe Provincial Council of Málaga was represented by its deputy for Sports, Christopher Ortega, and by its director of Sports Area, Borja Vivas. The City Council of Manilva was present by its councilor from the same area, Manuel Gil and by its first deputy mayor, Diego Jose Jimenez. Y For its part, the Club Deportivo Manilva Basket Base 2012 was represented by its coordinator, Francisco Montanez.

The act was opened, as host, by the sports deputy of the Malaga Provincial Council, Cristóbal Ortega, who welcomed all the attendees, both from the Andalusian Basketball Federation and the Manilva City Council, mshowing his joy for hosting one of the most important tournaments of Andalusian grassroots basketball as it is one of the Andalucía A8 Championships of the 2022-2023 season.

In addition, he listed the numerous tournaments in which the Ddeputation of Malaga and the FAB They have worked hand in hand to promote the sport of the basket in a basketball land like Málaga, also thanking CD Manilva Basket for its predisposition to carry out the event.

Next, the sports councilor of the Manilva City Council took the floor. Manuel Gil, who thanked the FAB and the Malaga Delegation, as well as the Provincial Council and CD Manilva Basket Base for making it possible for the championship to go ahead perfectly. He highlighted the coexistence and greatness of the sport of basketball, Hoping to welcome the children and family members with open arms so that they can enjoy the weekend of sports and coexistence in Manilva, as well as the beaches and the gastronomy of the town.

The event was closed by the president of the FAB and vice president of the FEB, Antonio de Torres, who thanked the Malaga Provincial Council for hosting the presentation of the championship, as well as the Manilva City Council and CD Manilva Basket for their willingness to time to organize it, and Ricardo Bandrés, vice president of the FAB and provincial delegate in Malaga, for always being willing to celebrate any event in the province.
