An outrageous and disgusting attack that has no parallel. The director of the extra league was turned off by the words of the manager of Olomouc

Mrkva and Tomáš Cabák distributed a record 100 penalty minutes in the match between Hanák and West Bohemia this season. Emotions ran high on both sides, but Fürst could not control them after the 3:2 win.

“I wish you a nice holiday, you bu*erant one of the fuckers! You can’t whistle here anymore!” the referees recorded in the minutes of the match how Fürst vulgarly attacked Mrkva on the way to the referees’ booth after the match.

A day later, in an interview with the newspaper Sport, he avoided using foul language. However, Mrkva, whom Olomouc immediately decided to veto for the rest of the season, did not spare at all.

“I asked him if he was satisfied with his performance and if what he performed was the performance of an extra-league referee. And he arrogantly tells me: ‘Have a good time, goodbye’? On Sunday, guests, home team and spectators were pissed off. And Mr. Carrot leaves with a greasy mouth from a sausage or whatever, completely satisfied because he’s taking home a paycheck,” said Fürst, adding that Mr. Carrot doesn’t move enough on the ice because “he’s fatter than me – and that’s saying something.”

The director of the domestic top competition was outraged by Fürst’s statement. “I understand that after the match, someone’s nerves go away. But for him to insult the referee like that, it really bothers me,” he said to Sport.cz.

“This is a blatant and disgusting attack on the referee on a personal level, which clearly tarnishes the work of the Association of Professional Ice Hockey Clubs, as the representative of the APK LH in the Czech Ice Hockey Association’s referee commission is an integral part of the governing body of the competition,” Loukota points out that that representative is the head of referees Vladimír Pešina.

“In my opinion, this statement by the club’s representative in the media has no parallel in Czech hockey, because it far exceeded the limits of decency and mutual respect, which also casts a bad light on the entire competition,” Loukota says.

He does not understand why Fürst is solving the matter through the media. “I am of the opinion that the space for constructive criticism or solving the problems that arose during the competition are primarily regular meetings of the general meetings of the APK LH (members are representatives of all clubs of the extra league),” adds the man who, before the season when the management of the extra league took over from club association, replaced Josef Řezniček in the position.
