Álvaro Fernández, new Avilés goalkeeper

Real Avilés has reached an agreement with goalkeeper Álvaro Fernández (April 10, 2000, Madrid) to complete the blue and white goal for the remainder of the season after the departure of José Saldaña.

The man from Madrid arrives from Rayo Majadahonda, of the First RFEF, where he has played four games this season, to which is added one more participation in the Copa del Rey. Previously, he was a member of the lower categories of Real Madrid, as well as Atlético Malagueño, reaching international status with the Spanish team U17 and U19, managing to win the European U17 and U19. Later he was a member of the Celta de Vigo affiliate, changing airs in 2021, at which time he joined Rayo Majadahonda, from which he comes.

Álvaro Fernández will wear the number ’13’ left by Saldaña.
