The former Serbian winger of ASVEL, Aleksandra Crvendakic (1.88 m, 26 years old), leaves Salamanca prematurely. She signed up with another women’s Euroleague club, CBK Mersin.
Passed by Lyon from 2020 to 2022, Aleksandra Crvendakic had settled in Salamanca in Spain to start the season. A few months later, she rebounded in Turkey in a women’s Euroleague formation: Mersin. The latter will find her former coach, also recently recruited by the Turkish club, Roberto Iñiguez.
With the arrival of Laura Cornelius, Dutch international leader, combined with the signing of the Serbian post 3-4, the Turkish club, currently 3rd in its Euroleague group, is thus expanding its workforce.
So far, the former ASVEL player averaged 10.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists on the European scene this season, slightly below her standards.
