AC Milan – Sassuolo 2:5, AC Milan’s crisis deepened, the champion lost to Sassuolo at home

AC Milan did not start the match badly, but Giroud’s goal in the eighth minute was called off by the video referee due to offside. The guests then bounced back to the favorites thanks to two counter-attack goals: Defrel scored first in the 19th minute, followed by Frattesi three minutes later. Although the home team immediately reduced the score thanks to Giroud’s header, Berardi scored after half an hour of play.

Right at the beginning of the second act, he added the fourth goal for the visitors from a penalty kick by Lauriente, and in the 79th minute, Berardi passed the goal to Henrique. Two minutes later, Origi only corrected the score.

AC conceded five goals at home for the first time since 1997, when they lost to Juventus 1:6. In addition, the Milan team lost 0-4 at Lazio Roma on Tuesday and conceded four goals in two consecutive league games for the first time in history. The defending champions have been waiting for a win for four rounds, while Sassuolo, on the other hand, claimed their first victory after eight league matches.

Napoli took the lead in the 17th minute when Kvaracchelija crossed the ball to Osimhena and the top scorer of the season fired past goalkeeper Patrício. Spinazzola could have equalized at the end of the half, but Meret was attentive.

The Romans managed to equalize a quarter of an hour before the end, El Shaarawy came through. But in the end it was the home side who took the victory. Zielinski found Simeone in the box and the Argentinian striker hit the top corner of the goal with a sharp shot.

Lazio took the lead in the eighth minute. After a corner kick, stopper Casale found his way in the goal and beat the visitors’ goalkeeper. The goalkeeper of Lazia Provedel had a lot of work to do afterwards, who faced a dangerous Jovic attempt in the 27th minute. At the beginning of the second half, however, he was struggling in vain after González’s shot.

Towards the end of the match, Fiorentina had more opportunities, but Provedel eliminated all chances. In the last seconds, Barák extended the corner to the back post with his head, but Milenkovič only hit the crossbar in the final fall.

Monza followed up on the last league meeting with Juventus, in which they won 1:0 at home in September. She also managed to beat the “Old Lady” in Turin thanks to a successful first half. In the 18th minute, Ciurria opened the scoring, who after Machín’s penetrating pass, finished sharply at the front post. Before the break, Mota added the second goal after a clever move by the goalkeeper.
