It can hardly be said better. “Because of us, there are fewer broken children’s hearts.” For example, Aagje Vanwalleghem is now assessing the action she set up in 2020 together with other (former) gymnasts and their entourage to address the unhealthy climate within Belgian top gymnastics. Nor does Nina Derwael’s recent criticism of those testimonies make her doubt.
