4 players did not understand the situation

The defeat against Monza infuriated Massimiliano Allegri who after the match pointed his finger at some of his players: here are the Juventus players who ended up in the Juventus coach’s sights.

Il bad internal KO of Juventus against Monzaarrived at the end of a dark period for the Juventus club, brought coach Massimiliano Allegri to face his players in the locker room of the Stadium at the end of the match. The tough speech made to the players has the obvious purpose of calling to order all those who have not yet understood the very delicate situation of the Piedmontese club after the heavy penalty in the standings imposed by the FIGC Court of Appeal regarding the sporting trial on fictitious capital gains. Not by chance the coach from Livorno spoke of “salvation” for the first time as a goal to be achieved pointed the finger at some of his players with a phrase said on live TV that leaves no room for interpretation: “Ior I know that we have to think about working in the field, whoever is not able to do this is out” the unusual words spoken by the Tuscan to the microphones of DAZN after the defeat against the Brianza.

Inevitably, after this statement, one wonders: Who was Allegri angry with and who were his words addressed to? To find the answer to these questions it is enough to analyze the behavior of the Juventus coach in the match against Monza. Certainly indeed the speech from Livorno referred to Filip Kostic and Leandro Paredes who, after a disastrous first half, were left in the locker room by the coach who was visibly disappointed with their performance. The Serbian fullback and the Argentine midfielder are indeed appeared listless and unwilling to sacrifice, infuriating Allegri so much that he replaced them after only 45 minutes of play. But, probably, they are not the only two players to whom the Juventus coach was referring in his post-match outburst.

In fact, the coach didn’t hide his disappointment at the performance offered by his team against Monza, especially in the first half of the game. But he also recalled that he didn’t like the attitude of some of his players even in the previous two matches: therefore it is inevitable to think that among the recipients of the outburst there is also Alex Sandro (who was left on the bench for the entire ninety minutes after his performances with Napoli and Atalanta against the Brianza players), Bremer back from three games clearly below his standards and, perhaps, also with some of those who have not played in these last few games but who have not shown the right attitude in training in what is, without a doubt, the most delicate moment of Juventus’ last 15 years.
