But the tournament in the desert state did not go well for CR7 and Co. ZDF presenter Katrin Müller-Hohenstein (57) also says goodbye to the audience after the end of the game!
Müller-Hohenstein moderates the broadcast from the World Cup studio, saying at the very end: “For me, that was the World Cup, it was great fun.”
Ronaldo RAUS! Morocco creates a mega sensation
Words that make the spectators frown – why did the tournament end for Müller-Hohenstein after the quarter-finals?
The reason is quite simple: ZDF only broadcasts one game!
On Tuesday (8 p.m.) the broadcaster will broadcast the semifinals between Croatia and Argentina. At the kick, which promises a ticket to the final, Jochen Breyer (40) moderates for ZDF alongside Christoph Kramer (31) and Per Mertesacker (38).
Since the other semi-final as well as the final and the game for third place are only shown on MagentaTV and ARD, ZDF and Müller-Hohenstein are left empty in the remaining games.
