The Government of Jujuy advances with the modifications and comprehensive modernization of the Jujuy Basketball Federation Stadium, works that will allow the space to host international sporting events and others of great magnitude.
Carlos Stanic, head of the MISPTyV, reported that “in recent weeks, the work on the San Martín park has progressed rapidly: we are already in the last stretch of the concrete and masonry work, then start the interior tasks, coatings, installations and painting , it is important to provide the necessary comfort for the installation of the ticket offices and accesses”.
“On the facades of the Stadium, 100% of the structures for the assembly of the glass skin have already been placed, which is also being installed and is expected to be completed in the coming days,” he explained, adding that “inside, the works are in the final details of dry construction and the thermodynamic and electrical installation in office, bathroom and cabin sectors”.
“This week the work will be around the placement of the structure for court lights, backboards and regulatory rings; Once these tasks are completed, the installation of the technical floor will take place,” shared Stanic, who also recalled that the investment for the comprehensive renovation works of the Jujuy Federation Basketball Stadium, close to $400 million, is entirely from funds. Provincials themselves, and anticipated that the completion of the works is estimated for next February.
