War between Benzema and France complete: broker reveals medical images: “Karim could have played at the World Cup”

The war between Karim Benzema and the French national team is complete. Real Madrid striker Karim Djaziri’s agent has shared the medical images of Benzema’s injury for which he was sent off from the World Cup. He claims that Benzema could have played from the 1/8th finals. “Why was he asked to go home so quickly,” Djaziri wonders.

“I have consulted three specialists who confirm the diagnosis that Karim could have played or at least sat on the bench from the 1/8th finals of the World Cup. Then why was he asked to go home so quickly,” writes Karim Djaziri in a video of the imaging of Benzema’s injury.

Karim Benzema was in the French squad for the World Cup, but was sent home shortly before the start of the tournament due to knee and hamstring problems. However, he was not replaced in the squad.

Benzema resumed training at his club Real Madrid during the World Cup, so the question arose whether the decision of national coach Didier Deschamps had not been premature.

Before the World Cup final between Argentina and France, it was suggested that Benzema could be flown over, but Deschamps brushed that off the table.

Since then, everything pointed to Benzema actually wanting to stay in Qatar to recover and play later in the tournament. That he was reluctantly sent away is now also apparent from the mail from Benzema’s broker.

Four years earlier, the Ballon d’Or also missed the World Cup because he was disciplinary suspended. On December 19, he put an end to his turbulent career as an international.
