Venezuela will participate in the 26th South American School Games in Asunción, Paraguay

A total of 165 Venezuelan athletes will participate in the XXVI South American School Games Asunción, Paraguay 2022, from December 6 to 11.

This great event will have the participation of 1,500 athletes from 12 countries of the continent, where part of them will be Creole athletes aged between 12 and 14 years.

Among the disciplines that they will see in action will be swimming, court volleyball and beach volleyball, athletics, basketball, handball, futsal, judo, among others.

It should be noted that in individual sports athletes such as Eliana Romero, Darny Urdaneta, Ian Vaquen and Ariff Pérez will seek to climb to the top of the podium, while Aurenmi Rodríguez, Rosalvick Aguilar, Mariana Mendoza, Bárbara Díaz, Yhael López and Ricardo Rodríguez will the same in South American judo.

In this sense, Alessandra Dávila, who comes from winning silver and bronze medals in the Central American and Caribbean Confederation of Amateur Swimming (CCCAN) In Barbados, he will also be present at the Asunción pools, as part of the Venezuelan delegation.

As well as these aforementioned athletes, the rest of the delegation will participate, representing our country, wearing yellow, blue, red and eight stars.

It should be noted that the Venezuelan Delegation is made up of a total of 234 people, distributed among 165 athletes and 69 delegates, including coaches such as Alejandro Bermúdez (athletics), Mareuge Escorcha (para-athletics) and Henry Aguiar (judo).
