UNILIG basketball competitions were held
UNILIG basketball competitions organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation were held at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (MSKU).
According to the statement made by the university, MSKU, Adnan Menderes University, Pamukkale University, Süleyman Demirel University, Afyon Kocatepe University, Manisa Celal Bayar and Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University competed in the women’s group of the competitions that started on December 19 and ended on December 23.
In the men’s group, MSKU, Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Süleyman Demirel University, Uşak University, Pamukkale University and Celal Bayar University faced each other. MSKU Women’s Basketball Team completed the competitions as champions and qualified for promotion to the Super League. Manisa Celal Bayar University became the champion in the men’s group. MSKU Men’s Basketball Team came in second. It was stated that the teams succeeded in competing in the groups for promotion to the Super League with their success.
MSKU Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department Şamil Aktürk, Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Özcan Saygın, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Nursoy gave awards to the winners.
