This is how the coaches of Langreo, Marino and Avilés speak in the preview of matchday 14 in the Second RFEF

Javi Vázquez (Langreo), Manel Menéndez (Marino) and Emilio Cañedo (Avilés) spoke about the matches that their teams will face this Sunday against Arenteiro (12:00 pm), Laredo (6:15 pm) and Ourense (5:00 pm), respectively.

Javi Vázquez, Langreo coach

The work of the template. “With a maximum illusion, like last week. Langreo is an experience, a very cool challenge, to grow and improve. For the qualifying situation that we have the desire that I see, the illusion and being able to celebrate a victory in Ganzabal I notice the very excited team.”

Poveda. “Poveda has been training, we are in doubt if he will arrive. Every day he is a little better.”

El Arenteiro “I expect a very serious team, which makes very few mistakes and on an individual level has players who are key in the category, along the lines of these last games. They are capable of making a difference”.

His change of coach. “There have been no major changes. The current coach, except for a few details, follows the line he was before. I don’t think there are many changes from the Arenteiro of a month ago compared to the current one.”

El Arenteiro, leader. “It doesn’t surprise me. The league is very even, it’s a question of dynamics. Their good line helps them get points, just as they penalized us. They have players who make a difference and make very few mistakes.”

The hobby. “I understand that in the end, just like the players, the result weighs on them. When things don’t go well, people tend to get discouraged. I think we have to take a step forward. Now is the time to bring everyone together. We are in a difficult time, but not catastrophic, and it would be amazing if we have a positive mindset and we all pull together to get that win at Ganzabal on Sunday.”

Manel Menéndez, Marino’s coach

The week after the win. “We played in Miramar again after coming from Valladolid with a hard and heavy defeat. We were not good at all. I think we have had time this week to reconsider, let’s hope we have it quite clear.”

The Laredo. “We are facing a team to keep in mind. It is one of the teams that competes best in the category. We are going to have a difficult opponent that is going to make it very difficult for us”.

Win at Miramar. “We still have the pending issue that we didn’t win at home. We all have our heads focused on achieving a key victory. We want to finish the first round as well as possible and surpass last year’s numbers. The team is psyched up and focused to tackle this challenge to beat Laredo”.

Emilio Cañedo, coach of Aviles

Pressure due to the bad streak at home. “No, no pressure, what we have is a lot of motivation to extend the streak that we are achieving at home, now away from our stadium.”

injuries. “No, discard 100% only this Morcillo due to sanction. It is true that there were several overloads during the week, but until tomorrow we will not know anything.”

Ourense. “It’s a team that went from more to less. They have highly contrasted footballers in the category and with quality. In their field they have very assimilated what to do, the spaces, the surface… It’s going to be a very difficult opponent”.

How to approach the game. “We try to be recognizable and carry out our game plan. We are more reliable when we are recognizable and can develop our game.”

Opt for physical players on the field. “No, the footballers are the ones we have. You have to assess those overload situations that exist in the team, but the squad can adapt to all the surfaces on which you have to play”.
