This is how the coaches of Avilés, Langreo and Marino speak in the preview of matchday 15 in the Second RFEF

Emilio Cañedo, Javi Vázquez and Manel Menéndez, coach of Avilés, Langreo and Marino, respectively, spoke in advance of their matches this weekend, the last of the year 2022.

Emilio Cañedo, coach of Aviles

Diego Baeza asks for patience. “We are all aware of the urgency that the club and the city have, we are no strangers to them. Both the club and the team are in a process of growth and adaptation and we feel completely involved in it. We know that it is our responsibility to win as many games as possible”.

The casualty part. “We are going through a few difficult weeks, either due to players being sanctioned, due to administrative issues or injuries. We have been a little tight for a few weeks ”.

The starting goalkeeper. “We don’t know yet, there are still two weeks of training left. The goalkeeper is one more and we will try to choose the best for the occasion”.

The Langreo. “It is a very complicated team, for many reasons. It has a lot of tradition and history in the category and a very good fan base. On a sporting level, it is a team that, with the change of coach, has had that point of motivation for new faces. It will be a very difficult game”.

The new Langreo by Javi Vázquez. “This is more or less what happened to us last year when we arrived at Avilés. With the new faces on the bench, the footballer always tries to demand a little more from himself, to seek more prominence if they had not had it and to consolidate themselves if they were a fixture before. It is the main novelty that I believe exists ”.

Go to the break with a victory. “It would be very important and positive to leave with a victory. The stoppage is going to be very good for us, so we will recover troops and we will be able to organize ourselves again ”.

Javi Vázquez, Langreo coach

The work week. “It has gone very well, with great enthusiasm and desire. There is motivation for the rest week, Sunday’s will be the last effort of 2022 ”.

Illusion in the template. “The game the other day has given us a plus. We were very good, the players see what they can do. We are excited before the Christmas break and because it is a derby, something very important for the club. There are many things that make this week a little special. I’m looking forward to Sunday.”

Motivation for the derby. “I have always liked derbies. That point of passion and hobbies motivates me. I want Sunday to arrive to get the first victory. I am excited and looking forward to that plus three”.

Avilés is the third best local. “Arenteiro had only lost one when they visited us last Sunday and we dreamed of beating them. We are convinced to win on Sunday. We know it’s a derby and that it’s a great challenge, but that’s not why it’s impossible”.

The Aviles. “They have an excellent squad, with several top-class players. It will be a very difficult game, they will want to have the ball and be the protagonists. We are going to try to do the same, be the ones with the baton and get the three points. It’s going to be very even, so we’ll need to be at a very, very high level”.

Message to the fans. “We must stay with the sensations of the other day. We have to be all together and not think that we are wrong or regret. There is still a lot left. I hope that as many fans as possible come, that we feel like local media. I love these derbies and that passion is very important.”

Manel Menéndez, Marino’s coach

The Cantabrian Lightning. “It’s the last league game before Christmas and we’re up against a great subsidiary. They really like having the ball, subduing the opponent through possessions, he is quite direct and is capable of handling many attacking possibilities. Also, they have quite a few talented players.”

Go back outside after the last hit. “It will be difficult for us. The bad game we played in Valladolid has to serve as experience. We want to do our best to end with positive feelings. In the last game at home we got the victory, which we hadn’t done for a long time, and we did a great job”.

Sunday’s game. “It will be difficult, but we have our options. We have to have a lot of confidence and believe in ourselves, which we are lacking. We are doing things very well, we have deserved much more”.
