There was no match-fixing at the World Cup in Qatar, according to FIFA

The FIFA reported this Friday that it did not detect, through its integrity working group, no fixing in the 64 games that were part of the Qatar World Cup 2022 which ended last Sunday with the victory of Argentina in the penalty shootout over France (3-3 and 4-2).

No threats of match manipulation were detected in any of the matches played during the competition,” the agency reported.

“The composition of the working group guaranteed that the response to any alert about possible match manipulation and integrity issues during the FIFA World Cup to be competent, coordinated and timely,” he added.
