Sunday, December 11, the Garna’Archers club organized an indoor archery competition. 104 archers, coming from different clubs of Vendée, Loire-Atlantique and Deux-Sèvres, were present.
For this indoor event on targets at 18 meters, everyone had the choice of their bow: recurve, bare or compound. 19 archers, including many young people for whom it was the first competition, represented the Garnachois club for this competition which was selective for the French championship which will take place at the end of February at the Vendéspace for the young people and in mid-March for the adults”,
indicated Gaël Raballand, president of the club.
The compound team cup was won by Garna’Archers Christophe Lebas, Alexandre Herbreteau, who is vice-champion of France in Olympic shooting, Nathanaël Naud and Florent Boudet, with a score of 1,722/1,800.
The award ceremony took place in the presence of departmental advisers Nadia Rabreau and Rémi Pascreau and assistant Corine Vrignaud.
The next outdoor competition, in federal and international distances of 50 and 70 m, will take place at the Equaizière leisure area on May 13 and 14.
