The Cubs signed Cody Bellinger to a one-year, $17.5 million deal

The activity in the free agency of the Major League Baseball (MLB) is at a thousand an hour this offseason, and among the most prominent announcements this Tuesday, is the hiring of Cody Bellinger by the Chicago Cubs.

The first to announce the news was the renowned ESPN journalist, Jeff Passan, who in his report added that the contract, which has not yet been made official by the club, would be for one season, at a rate of $17.5 million.
