Summary of December 3 NBA games: Magic-Raptors

TORONTO — OG Anunoby tied a career-high 32 points this season and the Toronto Raptors bounced back from two embarrassing losses to mock the Orlando Magic 121-108 on Saturday.

Pascal Siakam contributed 26 points and 10 assists for the Raptors (12-11), who inflicted an eighth straight loss on the Magic, the NBA’s worst team with a 5-19 record.

Scottie Barnes added 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Fred VanVleet had 13 points and seven assists.

Former Raptors Terrence Ross and Bol Bol provided 18 points apiece for the Magic.

Bol was the only Magic starting five to reach double digits. Paolo Banchero, who entered the game as the leading rookie scorer, hit just two of his eight shots and finished the night with nine points.

The Raptors were back at home after a disastrous two-game road trip. They had lost 126-108 to the New Orleans Pelicans and then 114-105 to the Brooklyn Nets after falling 36 points in the game.

Quebecer Luguentz Dort finished the game with 4 rebounds, 3 assists and a total of 18 points. Mention to Josh Giddey and his 12 rebounds in the victory.

In Minnesota’s camp, D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards were the main offensive movers with 27 and 26 points apiece in the loss.

The Thunder signs a second consecutive victory, after beating the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, 119 to 111.

Doncic wins the Mavs in New York

Luka Doncic, author of 30 points, guided the Mavericks to victory (121-100) at the Knicks.

The Slovenian prodigy, current top scorer in the championship, was quite skilful (11/21 on shots) and multiplied with 8 rebounds captured, 7 assists delivered and 3 blocks inflicted.

Tim Hardaway Jr assisted him well with 28 points scored, being precise at long distance (8/13).

It was in the third quarter that the New York defense took on water, conceding a crippling 41-15, despite the efforts of Julius Randle (24 pts) and Immanuel Quickley (23 pts). Evan Fournier waxed the bench again without getting out.

After this second setback in a row, NY slipped to 11th place in the Eastern Conference.

The Mavericks, themselves, go back to 9th position in the West, four places behind the Kings, who had no trouble beating Clippers deprived of star players Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, spared.

SAC: Domantas Sabonis and Keegan Murray earned 24 and 23 points respectively.
LAC: With 18 points, Brandon Boston Jr. collected his best harvest of the season. It was his 7th game.

Bucks 105 – Hornets 96
MIL: Bobby Portis had 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the win. Giannis Antetokounmpo sat out the match due to a left knee injury.
CHA: Terry Rozier led the Hornets in scoring with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

Rockets 101 – Warriors 120
HOU: Performance of 20 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists for Kevin Porter Jr. in the loss.
GSW: Andrew Wiggins stole the show in this game with 36 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists to lead the Warriors to victory.

Trail Blazers 116 – Jazz 111
POR: Spectacular 45-point performance for Anfernee Simons in Portland’s win.
UTA: Jordan Clarkson kept the Jazz alive in the game with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
