Guérigny. Sports discoveries for college students. This was part of the projects of the new president of Asgu Omnisports Alain Genre: to organize, during the lunch break, (free) sports initiation activities for college students.
It is now done, thanks to an agreement between the club, the school and the city, which makes its facilities available.
Archery, tennis and pétanque
Three sections are involved in the scheme, one per quarter.
Thus, every Tuesday, from 1 p.m., a group of young people (volunteers) currently discover archery, under the guidance of members of the club, and with suitable equipment, lent by Ufolep de la Nievre.
In the second quarter, it is the tennis section which will welcome the secondary school pupils in the gymnasium (there remains the problem of heating!), before pétanque, in the last part of the school year, inside the Vauban bowling alley.
