Singer and Freeland will represent the United States in the Classic… – Béisbol en Acción

The United States’ rotation is now a bit deeper, after Royals ace Brady Singer and Rockies starter Kyle Freeland announced their commitment to represent their country in the upcoming World Baseball Championship on Friday. Classic.

Singer, 25, is coming off a career year in which he set personal bests in wins, innings pitched and ERA with the Royals.

For his part, after just six seasons, Freeland ranks ninth in Rockies career wins, and his 114 ERA+ is the second-highest in club history. The ability to pitch in a hitter-friendly park like Coors Field should help him in the Classic.
