All ready for World Cup ? It would seem so. The new competition that will replace the historic World League in 2023 will kick off next April with the first qualifying round while the winners will be crowned between the end of June and the beginning of July.
The route sees the best 12 men’s teams and the best 8 female able to make up Division 1, while Division 2 will be open to any team from Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Six teams from Division 1 and two from Division 2 will enter the Super Finals after two qualifying rounds.
Il Settebello was placed in the group with Japan, Greece, USA, Hungary and France, the Setterosa on the other hand, Spain, the USA and China drew.
