Saint Marcel. The construction of a physiotherapy practice validated by the municipal council

Geneviève Clouet, sports educator at St. Marcel (Morbihan) presented Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the start of the city council, its basic multi-activity project that it wishes to offer to young people aged 8 to 12. Its objective: the discovery of sport in the heart of nature, orientation, archery, kayaking, climbing, karate… The elected officials listened attentively to his intervention and are ready to reserve occupation slots at the multi-purpose complex.

A physiotherapist’s office

Installed since 2015 at 6, rue du Maquis, Maxime Le Gal, a young physiotherapist, was quickly joined by Thibaud Martin in the town hall renovated for this purpose. In 2021, Mélanie Cardin came to strengthen her colleagues. Rather than continuing to rent, the professionals decided to acquire a plot in the town to build their own practice.

The elected officials recorded the sale of a plot of 1,169 m2, near the establishment of senior autonomy, the Residences of the Oaks, at the corner of rue Marienne and rue de la Bouie, for €14,028. The project, whose permit is under study, provides for a modular construction with a footprint of 131 m2on the ground floor, with possibility of extension. The site could be handed over as soon as the end of 1is semester 2023, noted Armelle Robert, the mayor. Steps are being taken with the Region to have the bus shelter moved nearby.

Extracurricular center

The project to create a canteen and a daycare center in rue du Maquis is progressing. The call for tenders for the choice of the architect is launched. The consultation criteria are the value of the price and the technical score, for 50% each. The total amount of the project amounts to more than one million euros. The municipality hopes to finance it with 80% of subsidies.

Revision of municipal tariffs

All rates for the multipurpose complex will be increased by 5% in 2023. Elected officials have also increased municipal rents.

The road program

The road program for 2023 is estimated at €77,335 excluding tax. A grant application is made to the departmental council for up to €50,000. Another is requested under the Territorial Solidarity Program (PST). The sectors concerned are: La Ville-Frioul, Bellion, Basses-Landes, Pont-de-la-Métairie-de-La-Née, Le Carouge, Le Vaugace, Chemin de Gandouin, Rue des Genêts, Val-des-Pins .

Dates to remember : vows ceremony Friday January 20, at the multipurpose complex, at 7 p.m. Saturday January 28 : inauguration of changing rooms, at the sports complex, at 9.30 a.m., and inauguration of the extension of the senior autonomy residence, at 11 a.m.
