Riner and Dicko at the Grand Slam of Paris

Teddy Riner and Romane Dicko will be the leaders of the French team at the Paris Judo Grand Slam on February 4 and 5, the French Federation announced on Tuesday by unveiling the list of selected, where Clarisse Agbégnénou is missing.

Last October, Teddy Riner was forced to withdraw from the world championships in Uzbekistan, due to a sprained right ankle. He returned to competition in the final of the Champions League by teams played in Georgia on November 26 with his club PSG. Romane Dicko, meanwhile, was crowned world champion in Tashkent. After a break of a few weeks, she returned for the Champions League, winning all her fights.

Among the other French selected, there are among others Shirine Boukli (-48 kg), Amandine Buchard (-52 kg), Sarah-Léonie Cysique (-57 kg) or Benjamin Axus (-73 kg). Clarisse Agbégnénou, on the other hand, has not yet been selected. The double Olympic champion from Tokyo injured her knee when she returned to competition at the end of November after her maternity leave.
