The week that began with the renewal until 2026 of the left winger Mikel Zabala ends with the extension of the contract of the right winger Iñaki Cavero until 2025.
Since he made his debut in 2013, the irundarra has played 199 Asobal League games, in which he has scored 465 goals. In Europe there are thirty games and 102 goals.
He is currently the team’s top scorer in the league (74 in 15 games, average of five) and second in the European League (40 in six, 6.6), as well as tenth on the Asobal League list.
Cavero is “very happy with the renovation. For me it is an honor to play in the club of my city and to be part of this project”.
In the Christmas break he acknowledges that «in the league we have had our mistakes, but the objective is still to finish as high as possible in the standings. And also in the European League, where we are on the right track.
