Ramy Bensebaini’s BVB change seems to be almost perfect

Borussia Dortmund is apparently about to bag the first transfer for the coming summer. Ramy Bensebaini is said to be about to switch from Borussia Mönchengladbach to BVB.

As “Bild” reports, the negotiations between the Algerian left-back and the Black and Yellows are only about the amount of the salary and the earnest money.

This is due instead of a fee because Bensebaini’s contract in Gladbach expires. The Fohlenelf’s hands are tied in poker for the future of the 27-year-old. Allegedly, Bensebaini has already informed his current employer that he wants to take on a new challenge. From January 1st he can also officially negotiate with other clubs.

Bensebaini advisor confirms “talks with BVB”

Bensebaini advisor Jaspal Singh Gill recently confirmed “talks with BVB” to “Sport1”, but also admitted contacts with other clubs abroad.

“Ramy is a player who is interesting for many clubs and fits in everywhere,” Gill emphasized the Algerian’s assets, but added: “At the moment we are not facing any agreement with any club.”

Bensebaini has “not yet made a final decision” about his future, according to the consultant – this could now soon be in favor of BVB.

BVB: Raphael Guerreiro before departure

There Bensebaini would then take over the squad and probably also the regular place from Raphael Guerreiro. There are signs of separation between the district club and the Portuguese world championship driver.

Guerreiro’s contract with BVB expires at the end of the season. Due to his weaknesses in terms of defensive qualities and commitment as well as his susceptibility to injuries, he is controversial internally.

Bensebaini has allegedly been on the list for a long time for those responsible in Dortmund. Last summer, however, a change failed because of the transfer fee requested by Gladbach. In addition, BVB did not find any buyers for Guerreiro and Nico Schulz, who had been sorted out, who still blocked a squad place at the back left and a large salary budget.
