Pablo Sabbag will not continue with Equidad and will take an important step in his career. In recent weeks his name had been mentioned by several important teams in Colombian soccer, although the transfer market had not been revolutionized.
At the age of 25, Sabbag was linked to Junior or Atlético Nacional, but it did not go beyond polls and an official offer did not materialize. Thus, the forward was also awaiting possibilities to return abroad, after his experiences in Portugal (Tondela) and Argentina (Estudiantes de La Plata and Newell’s Old Boys).
However, Sabbag had already reached a verbal agreement and hopes to sign his contract to sign with a historic team in South American football.
According to journalist César Luis Merlo, Sabbag will play in 2023 with Alianza Lima, from Peru, since they closed an agreement after several weeks of talks.
