Oberá Tennis Club (OTC) had a historic participation in the South American Basketball League (LSB), placing in the top four of the competition and his pivot, Charles Mitchell integrated the ideal quintet and the team finished with a positive record of 4 wins and 3 losses.
As point one it will hold in the books, being the first professional team from Misiones to qualify in an international tournament, and for this reason everything obtained places it at the top of the sport on the red earth.
He finished with a positive record, winning four of his seven games. Two of those victories were at home, because he was encouraged and organized the competition of Group B (October 7-8 and 9), facing pichincha from Bolivia (105-65), Bauru (63-55 – LSB champion) y regattas of Corrientes (79-85), finishing second and accessing the Final 8.
The definition of the competition was played on the field of Obras Sanitarias, where Celeste played four games: vs. Saint Martin (78-56) by round of 16; vs Boca (72-68) by quarters; again before Saint Martin (69-78) in semis and vs Titans from Colombia (84-89) for third and fourth place.
