New positive on the ATP circuit: Kamil Majchrzak, suspended for taking a prohibited substance

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) take advantage of the month of December to announce a carousel of positive cases and violations of the code of conduct, such as illegal betting by both players and referees.

However, this time the person affected is an elite tennis player and among the top 100 in the ranking. This is Kamil Majchrzak, number 77 on the lists.

Majchrzak was detected in a urine sample of SARM S-22 and a metabolite of LGD-4033 in the controls carried out in the ATP tournaments in Sofa and Tokyo and the challenger in Seoul. It is the same substance for which the Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia was suspended in 2019.

Before his positive was made official, the tennis player already sent a statement yesterday through social networks to exculpate himself from the situation.

Low in the United Cup

The Pole is provisionally suspended pending a hearing. Majchrzak was one of the representatives of their country in the first edition of the United Cupwhich will be held in Australia from December 29 to January 8.
