Although it has become a cold winter, Namwon, a city of luxury sports, is still busy hosting a series of sports events.
On the 2nd, the 11th Namwon Mayor Bae Dong-hoin Golf Tournament, on the 3rd, the Namwon Chunhyang Cup Senior/Silver National Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Tournament, and on the 4th, the 17th Namwon Mayor Badminton Tournament were successfully held amid the enthusiasm of athletes.
The 11th Namwon Mayor Bae Dong-hoin Golf Tournament held at Namwon Golfzon County Dragon was attended by about 250 golf clubs and displayed their honed skills to the fullest.
Afterwards, the Namwon Chunhyang Cup Senior/Silver National Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Championship held at Namwon Chunhyanggol Gymnasium was fiercely contested by 600 volleyball clubs from 24 teams from 18 cities and counties across the country.
In addition, about 250 badminton club members participated in the 17th Namwon City Badminton Tournament held at Badminton Stadium in Chunhyanggol Sports Park, Namwon.
Namwon Mayor Choi Kyung-sik said, “I hope that the sports event will be a place where everyone can enjoy and harmonize together.”
