More than 15 activities, in the FDM space at ExpoJove

This year 2022 has been the definitive recovery of sports activity in the city of Valencia and, as a climax, ExpoJove will return with its traditional event for the youngest after two years suspended due to the health crisis. The Municipal Sports Foundation will be present from December 26 to January 4, 2023. As in past editions, the objective will be to bring a multitude of modalities closer to the youngest thanks to a Sports Area that will have more than 15 activities. Past editions of ExpoJove welcomed more than 200,000 visitors, numbers that reflect the great impact of this event that closes 2022 and opens the new year.

ExpoJove is aimed at a young audience, especially the little ones in the house. It is a place where families and residents of Valencia enjoy a wide variety of cultural, sports and leisure activities that are offered in the different pavilions of the fair. Therefore, the Municipal Sports Foundation will be present with more than 15 sports activities so that attendees have the opportunity to discover and practice different modalities, in addition to thanking the participation with different ‘merchandising’. For each activity that is completed, the participants will stamp a sports passport that will be given to them at the entrance to this area.

These are some of the sports that will be present thanks to the collaboration with the federations and clubs of the city: the Hockey Federation of the Valencian Community will have a hockey field and a bouncy castle; the Ciutat Vella Chess Club will have a giant board, a wall of magnetic pieces and 18 boards for games; on the other hand, CB Petraher will be the protagonist to teach the little ones how to practice adapted basketball; the Rugby Federation will also have its inflatable space to carry out tackles, specific movements and a ‘gaming set’ with the ‘Rugby2022’ video game; and the Comunitat Valencia Badminton Federation with the organization of matches and related exercises.

The Union of Consumers of Valencia will also be present, which will have its own road safety circuit, as well as paint/game workshops; the Padel Federation with several mini paddle tennis courts; the Federation of Baseball, Softball and American Football of the Community with zones to hit; the Colpbol Association with didactic workshops and exhibitions of teams participating in the Official League; the Judo Federation will have modalities such as Jiu Jitsu, Aikido, Kendo or Wu Shu; the Valencian Community Tennis Federation with mini-tennis and ‘touchtennis’ nets; the Billiards Federation of the Valencian Community will have several game tables and will take the best Valencian players, as well as exhibitions and free courses; as well as the Fundació de la Comunitat Valenciana per la Pilota Valenciana, which will also bring elite players from ‘escala i corda’ and ‘raspall’; or the Motion Academy club that will have an installation of wooden obstacles and mats, with workshops for ‘parkour’ and psychomotricity, a whole space to bring this urban sport closer; In addition to other sports areas with different activities.

It will be a great opportunity for families and residents of the city of Valencia to take advantage of these holidays at the Youth Christmas Fair, discovering and practicing cultural, sports and leisure activities offered by the different pavilions of Feria Valencia.
