Mavericks lose without Doncic and Kleber in Cleveland

The Dallas Mavericks, plagued by injuries, suffered another away defeat in the North American professional basketball league NBA.

Without their star Luka Doncic and the German national player Maxi Kleber, the Mavericks lost 99:100 after overtime to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavaliers currently have the best home record in the league with a 14-2 win, while the Mavericks have only won three away games this season.

The best player of the game was Dallas’ Kemba Walker with 32 points. The former All-Star, who only signed at the end of November, played for the Mavericks for the first time in the absence of starters Doncic, Spencer Dinwiddie and Dwight Powell and put the team into overtime seconds before the end.

Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns, who won a high-quality game 118-114 against the New Orleans Pelicans, topped the game with 58 points in Saturday’s games. In the third quarter, the Pelicans led by 24 points.

The Memphis Grizzlies lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder for the first time in six wins. At 109:115, star player Ja Morant was sent off shortly before half-time after his second technical foul of the game after he is said to have complained to spectators about the referees.
