O Lyon announced this Monday (12/19) the completion of the sale to Eagle Footballmulticlub network of John Textor that already had Botafogo, Crystal Palace and RWD Molenbeek. The businessman will hold 77.49% of the capital of OL Groupe, the group that manages the French club. The transaction revolves around € 800 million (R$ 4.5 billion).
The process lasted a few months, since the businessman made the non-binding offer official, in June. The situation dragged on longer than expected due to bureaucratic procedures related to Crystal Palace and the Premier League, which ended up being resolved.
