Luka Doncic is back in force with Dallas in the NBA

Hit in the thigh, Luka Doncic had missed Saturday’s game in Chicago, and Dallas had sunk in its second game in less than 24 hours (115-144). The page was quickly turned. As of Monday evening, the Slovenian superstar was back in business against Oklahoma City. And the NBA’s leading scorer (32.9 pts) resumed his good habits, slamming 38 points (13/27 shooting), to stop the Mavericks’ two-game losing streak (121-114).

Also with 11 rebounds and 8 assists, the former Real Madrid has not gone far from a new triple double, he who already has six this season, the highest total in the League. Dallas finds a positive balance (14 v. – 13 d.) and goes back to 8th place in the Western Conference.

The Mavericks are 3-pointers

The Thunder however resisted well, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who equaled the record of points of his career (42, at 14/23). But he suffered a barrage from the Texans, author of 22 3-point baskets out of 54 attempts, including 6/14 for Tim Hardaway Jr. (20 pts) and 4/8 for Spencer Dinwiddie (20 pts, 10 pd). Doncic was rather well escorted for his return.

“I told the guys that we were taking very good shots today, open shots. In the NBA, you won’t get better than that, underlined the Slovenian. It just had to go on like that. We continued to share the ball well and that’s how we won. »

Doncic scored three long-range shots (out of 10 attempted). Above all, he set the sights on throws (9/10), after a last suspicious outing on this plan (10/24) against Milwaukee (105-106).

In other games of the night, the LA Clippers stunned Eastern Conference leaders Boston (113-93), Brooklyn lined up a fourth victory in Washington (112-100), Memphis crushed Atlanta (128-103), like Portland against Minnesota (133-112), Miami won on the floor of Indiana (87-82) and San Antonio won in one breath over Cleveland (112-111).
