The Toledo City Council, through the Department of Sports and the Municipal Sports Board, has promoted a ‘Day of Gender Violence’ by the Sports Club “Judo y Jiu-Jitsu Toledo” and the collaboration of the Local Police.
An activity that took place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Martial Arts Room of the Santa María de Benquerencia Sports Center, run by this entity that has been contributing for years to the promotion of equality within the sports field through of numerous initiatives such as the self-defense workshop for women that took place today.
The Councilors for Sports and Youth, Pablo García, and the Councilor for Equality, Ana Belén Abellán, have visited the 28 women who have participated in the proposal led by the president of the “Judo y Jiu-Jitsu Toledo” Sports Club, Juan José Hernández, and the monitor Álvaro Angelina.
